Overview, Inbox, Sparks and Notepad — the four screens that hold what waits for your hand.

Overview

About the pictures on this page. They are rendered from the built console over a demonstration data set, not from a live fleet — a screenshot of somebody's real record would publish their work. What the pictures are evidence of is the layout, the chips and the acts; every number in them is sample data.

Four things, in the order they need you: The Overview screen

  • NEXT — one command that clears the current queue of observations, with Copy. The note says how many observations it clears, and reminds you that the window does not fire it.
  • Awaiting your gate — every open gate: stream, gate id (r9, stop-2), state, since when, cost so far, and open.
  • Golden candidates (Advanced) — sentences the roles propose as law; Ratify or Not law, one word each.
  • Sparks to sign (Advanced) and Roles · live — what was captured and waits for your disposition; which roles run, since when, at what cost.

What you can do. Copy the NEXT line. Open a gate. Ratify or refuse a golden candidate. Read a spark. Click a role row to go to its conversation.

Where it comes from. Gates, observations and role sessions are rows of the record. The NEXT command is composed by the engine from those rows — the console prints it, it never invents it.

Inbox

Everything addressed to you, newest first: The Inbox

kindwhat it is
action requesta master needs your one command
gatea decision only you make
reporta leg returned — tests, commit
incidenta refusal happened, such as a dispatch from outside a registered master
relaya role handed something to another role

Kind · from · subject · when · your act, with the filters all · requests · reports · incidents next to the title. Seen marks a row read; open gate goes to the gate; stream / harvester / open jump to the stream, the defect or the conversation.

The sidebar badge counts gates only. What else appears in the Inbox is your choice, in Settings → You → Notify me about.

Sparks

A spark is a thought caught verbatim — yours, at any moment — that later becomes work, a law, or nothing.

The Sparks list

The list shows every spark with its state (captured · worked · to scribe · awaiting disposition · ratified · deferred), a time window and tags. Select several and Send for working, Add kin to relate sparks, or Archive.

The Reader shows one spark in full: the founding text, verbatim, in the language it was caught in; its kin; its state in the record; who proposed it; and the one act it is waiting for. The spark reader

Catch a spark is a dialog over any screen — the capture button in the sidebar, the button in Sparks, or Cmd-Shift-I. Write it as you would say it, add tags, choose a context, and Catch (Cmd-Enter); Esc closes without catching. ⛔ Nothing here is rewritten by the fleet — a spark is the owner's words.

Notepad (Advanced)

Scratch. Tabs for commands, pastes, things to check. It is not the record and not a spark — it is saved locally and synced, and nothing reads it but you. The Notepad
