What is not yet explained

The 88 refusal classes this section names but does not yet resolve, listed in full with a count.

88 of the product's 124 refusal classes are named here and not yet resolved. This page is the complete list.

Why this page exists

We would rather publish a short honest section than a long confident one. Every class below is real, deliberate, and named — if you are holding one, you are looking at a check that ran and answered, not at a crash. What is missing is only the written answer to what to do next.

We will not publish a remedy we cannot support. A wrong instruction on a page like this sends someone to do something harmful and costs the trust the page exists to earn. The classes below are the ones where the honest answer today is "we have not written that down yet".

What to do if you are holding one of these

  1. Read what the refusal itself printed. Many refusals in this product print their own remedy with your values already filled in — the class name is the index, not the whole message.
  2. Check the family page. Each class below has a one-line entry on its family page saying what its name indicates. That is often enough to tell you which of your own settings is in question.
  3. Ask us, and quote the class. A class name is the fastest possible support request: it tells us exactly which check refused. Every request against one of these names is what moves it onto an explained page.

The list

Counts below are not yet explained out of the family's total.

Identity and actors — 14 of 21

actor-registry-absent · actor-registry-unreadable · actor-registry-unwired · actor-retired · ceremony-capture-mismatch · ceremony-intermediate-exists · custody-loose-perms · custody-malformed-secret · no-identity · scope-denied · session-actor-key-absent · token-unmapped · trust-key-exists · trust-refused

Machines and seats — 38 of 42

machine-already-admitted · machine-already-retired · machine-cert-expired · machine-gomodcache-root-invalid · machine-invalid-csr · machine-max-sessions-invalid · machine-max-sessions-no-change · machine-max-sessions-slot-out-of-range · machine-not-admitted · machine-pin-not-ssh · machine-pin-operator-entry-missing · machine-pin-revoked · machine-pin-ssh-host-missing · machine-price-invalid · machine-price-no-change · machine-renew-no-change · machine-retire-live-run · machine-retire-seated · machine-seat-backend-not-seatable · machine-seat-backend-unknown · machine-seat-cast-path-invalid · machine-seat-config-dir-on-lane-backend · machine-seat-cross-machine-move · machine-seat-lane-on-config-dir-backend · machine-seat-lane-required · machine-seat-role-unknown · machine-seat-slot-occupied · machine-seat-slot-out-of-range · machine-set-binary-invalid-pair · machine-slots-below-seated · machine-slots-invalid · machine-slots-no-change · machine-ssh-key-required · machine-ssh-key-unverified · machine-transport-required · machine-unseat-live-run · machine-unseat-not-seated-here · machine-worktrees-root-invalid

Dispatch and capacity — 8 of 8

detach-kernel-port · detach-stdio-conflict · listen-ambiguous · result-too-large · routing-refusal · serverd-already-running · toolchain-unavailable · tunnel-needs-listener

The whole family is unexplained and that is less bad than it looks. The dispatch refusals an operator actually meets carry a rule number rather than one of these class names, and those are explained on the family page.

The record and gates — 12 of 14

access-log-unwritable · capture-invalid · config-init-incomplete · init-collision · merge-preconditions · structural-bounce · teardown-archive · teardown-provisioned-unresolvable · teardown-worktree-unknown · unknown-capture · unknown-stream · unknown-workspace

The network path — 1 of 18

egress-record-unavailable

⚠ This is the one gap in an otherwise complete family, and it is the awkward one: every other network refusal tells you to read the class from the record, and this is the refusal that says the record is what could not be reached.

The console — 7 of 11

console-act-no-session-actor · console-act-not-a-gate-write · console-batch-duplicate-stream · console-batch-empty · console-batch-ground-absent · console-batch-no-preview · console-batch-unaccounted

Documents and contracts — 8 of 10

order-bytes-truncated · order-digest-mismatch · order-expired · order-ref-ambiguous · order-revoked · order-superseded · schema-ahead · schema-behind

The arithmetic

14 + 38 + 8 + 12 + 1 + 7 + 8 = 88, out of 124. The other 36 are explained on the family pages, and all 124 are listed on Every refusal class, A to Z.
